Visiting Hours:

Surgical Patients
Only immediate family members are welcome in your room before and after surgery. Family members wanting to speak to the surgeon after an operation should stay in the surgery waiting area. Hospital personnel will keep your family informed of your progress

Nursing
The nursing staff will help you with any problems or concerns you may have. The head nurse and charge nurse also are available to help. If you are unable to resolve your concerns, please feel free to contact the public relations officer or the manager.

Pharmacy
The inpatient pharmacy is open, seven days a week. On weekdays, the pharmacy works from 8:30 am to 7:30pm.On weekends, the pharmacy works from 9am to 6pm. To comply with our hospital policy, medicines are dispensed only through doctor’s prescription.No over the counter medicines are available

Insurance
KJK Hospital is empanelled with the following TPA / Insurance Companies. No Smoking Policy To protect the health of our patients, visitors, and staff, AIMS does not permit smoking or any other intoxicants on the premises anywhere in the hospital compound

Guest House Facility
A temporary lodging facility for bystanders of inpatients is located outside KJK Hospital. The building provides affordable housing with easy access to the hospital.

Cafeteria & Canteen
KJK Hospital provides a cafeteria & canteen for visitors as well as for staff

Transportation Services
Transportation services (rental taxi and cabs) can be provided, on request. Ambulance services are also available, on request

Bank & ATM
The ATM counters of Canara Bank, Indian Bank are located at a walking distance from KJK Hospital

Guidelines for International Patients

Through our site, or by contacting the reception, you will be provided with an appointment to meet one of our Consultants, depending on your requirement. Once you reach the hospital, you have to encounter at hospital reception, to complete your registration formalities.

As per the guidelines from Directorate of Health Services, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, the following is required:


VISA FOR TREATMENT
The patient must have Med Visa or a Medical Attendant Visa (MEDX) facilitating only two persons to accompany the patient as attendants. Holding a Tourist VISA is in violation of Visa Rules. As the duration of treatment varies from case to case, the medical visa is extendable.

REGISTRATION
All the patients on Med Visa or MEDX visa have to register themselves with Foreigners Regional Registration Officer (FRRO) within 14 days of arrival.>The Pak national on Med visa or MEDX visa shall have to register themselves with Commissioner of Police, Trivandrum Kerala, India within 24 hours. The Afghan Nationals shall register with FRRO Trivandrum within 7 days on arrival.

“C-Form” FOR INPATIENTS
If you are admitted at our hospital , your C-Form will be send by us. In case you are visiting us on an out patient basis, we request you to ask your accommodation provider to send your C-Form to avoid legal hassles. Further details can be found on the Kerala Police Department website

VISA EXTENSION
If your Consultant requires you to extend your stay in Trivandrum, for medical treatment purpose, he/she shall provide you with a medical certificate for visa extention.
